Over the last several months we have been evaluating this device and specifically investigating how this tablet could be useful to the economic development professional. We've learned quite a lot!

It changes-
- How economic development and other organizations can market their locations
- How we work, both in the office and on the road
- How we communicate with our audiences
- How we use and view media, marketing, fostering "communities" within our communities
- etc.
We believe the tablet world has a lot to offer the profession.

We communicated what we've learned through a webinar on the topic, entitled "iPAD for Economic Development -- Fad or Fundamental?  Dean Whittaker and I presented this webinar as part of the Professional Learning Laboratory.
